SEGD High-Speed Variable-Pitch Automatic PET Bottle Blowing Machine
The Stable SEGD Series is designed for high-speed PET bottle production where stable transfer, accurate positioning and efficient heating are essential. Its variable-pitch architecture is different from the SEGS equidistant series and is intended for medium- and high-capacity applications.
High-Speed Variable-Pitch System
A continuous preform rotation system helps supply preforms at high speed without flipping or unnecessary transfer actions.
Servo-driven shift, stretch and clamping functions support high-speed operation, accurate positioning and smooth transitions between actions.
The variable-pitch mechanism converts the heated preform spacing to the required blowing-center spacing.
Centralized preform heating and continuous rotation support uniform and efficient heating.
Direct water passage through the heating box and cooling provisions help protect the preform neck finish.
Multiple safety-protection devices support continuous production.
Capacity and Configuration
The SEGD Series includes small-bottle configurations with 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 cavities, plus dedicated configurations for larger PET containers. Theoretical output can reach 24,000 BPH for selected high-speed models, based on a 500ml water bottle. Large-volume configurations are available up to 20L.
Final capacity, energy use and auxiliary-equipment requirements depend on the bottle volume, bottle geometry, preform, mold, target output and selected model. A matched proposal should be confirmed before quotation.
Applications
The SEGD Series can be configured for bottled water, carbonated beverages, juice, tea, edible-oil packaging and other PET bottle applications requiring stable medium- or high-capacity production. It can be planned with suitable downstream filling and capping equipment where required.
How to Select a Machine
Please provide your bottle drawing or sample, bottle volume, neck finish, target BPH, local voltage, bottle material, and whether you require mold, air compressor, chiller, filling or capping integration. Our team will recommend the suitable model and auxiliary equipment.
FAQ
What is the difference between SEGD and SEGS?
SEGD uses a high-speed variable-pitch transfer architecture for higher-capacity applications. SEGS is an equidistant automatic series with a different transfer and mold-change design. The suitable series depends on your bottle, target output and production requirements.
How is theoretical BPH calculated?
Theoretical output figures are based on a 500ml water bottle. Actual output varies with the preform, bottle design, volume, mold and production conditions.
Can SEGD produce large-volume PET containers?
Dedicated SEGD configurations are available for large-volume containers up to 20L. Please send your bottle drawing and required output for confirmation.
